New Creative Hub
Greenwich set to become London’s new design district
Eight London Architecture studios are working as a collective to create a new design district in the Greenwich Peninsula.
DKA, 6a Architects, Selgas Cano, Mole, Architecture 00, Assemblage, Barrozi Veiga and AKA Architects are headlining the design and planning for the creation of a permanent base set to house over 1,800 London creatives in low cost workspace.
The design hub will be surrounded by 16 new buildings established within the new Knight Dragon development scheme at Greenwich Peninsula.
Each Architect was tasked with designing 2 buildings each without consulting with the other participating practices involved, resulting in a provocative diversity of colour and form.
The project will be delivered in a single phase and is set to house its first tenants by 2020.
